Dear Country Lane Families,
Welcome to the Country Lane Library. We offer close to 14,000 books to students for checkout. Our collection includes picture books, non-fiction books, reference books, chapter books, and graphic novels. Students make weekly visits to the Country Lane library with their classes. Depending on their grade level, students may check out one or two books and may keep them for one or two weeks. If your child needs more time to finish a book they may renew it at least once. Students must bring books to the library to renew.

To make your student’s library experience successful and to encourage your child to become a lifelong reader please encourage your child to share their books with you. Make a time and place for daily reading. Help your child find a safe place to keep their library books and remind them what day is their class library day.
In addition to weekly visits with their classes, students can visit the library during snack recess, and 3rd – 5th graders may visit the library every day during lunch recess.

If you cannot find your library book don’t panic, most books turn up and Moreland does not charge late fees.
Places to search for your book:
If a library book is lost or damaged, then a replacement fee must be paid. The rates are:
Picture book - $20.00
Non-fiction book - $25.00
Fiction Chapter book - $20.00
Graphic Novel - $25.00
Paperback fiction - $10.00
